That doesn't sound right. Why would they cancel the swim more than two weeks before the event? What does the site say? What does the RD say?

The site says nothing. My coach has an email in to the RD to find out. We are not scheduled to have much/any rain in the next 2 weeks, and everything is bone dry. They are mowing the retention ponds.

So the water level is too low? Reminds me of a race outside of Houston when the lake levels were so low that people were walking the swim.

He didn't really say that exactly, and I paraphrased with the whole "Donkey Kong" bit, but so far, it is still going to happen.
