2 weeks to go to ironman canada.
I'm heading for my 4th and i always say the number doesn't matter but each year i'm checking online and awaiting the numbers to be assigned.
I'm 1255 this year......means nothing but i like it.
I went for a 3hr 45 minute run today (can you tell i'm not big on tapering)?
After 3 previous races all within 10 minutes finish of each other this year i'm pretty convinced it will be the break through race.
Good luck to everyone entered in the race, it's been over 90 each day for the last two weeks but supposed to be a little cooler in the next week.

Last year I got the number 1111 for an Oly I did.
I normally don't care about the number either, but I was happy when I saw it.
I agree that some times you can just feel a good race is about to happen.
I had that feeling two weeks ago on my first race of the year, and it worked out.

I had number 13 once and
I had number 13 once and decided to write "Lucky"above it on my leg. I had an awesome race and placed really well. After that, I had a succession of 13 races, usually with a 2 in it as well: 213, 132, 2113, and for IMFL 2323. That ended the streak and I went back to random numbering, but for 8 races I had 13's!
Anyways, numbers can be cool, and I hope everyone at IMC has a terrific race!!!

Hope so. I wasn't too jazzed about tapering in 100* just to race in 90*.

Its prime factors are 5 and 251.
but those are lucky too in some countries.
