Trifuel Ironman Nutrition Article

Hi,

I was reading a article Trifuel have previously posted on there website which a friend had printed out. This was a great article talking about what to do in the lead to a race and so forth. It also explained why we need carbs and how our bodies react when we don't get enough.

Nearer of us can find the article now, does anyone have it bookmarked and can provide a link?

Many thanks

There are a bunch under nutrition so not sure which one you may be referring to but if you page through the nutrition section you may find it.

I'll look some more.

Most of the articles I've read speak more to understanding how many calories are burned, and how to replace those calories. I really enjoyed the report from Hammer Nutrition that focuses more on (1) the calories your body can absorb without GI problems, and (2) how to get your body to prefer calories from fat to make up for the difference. There's obviously a slant towards Hammer products, but the underlying science and approach were very interesting.

You can download the report from the Hammer Nutrition site under the Knowledge tab. The report is called Endurance Athlete's Guide to Success.

It's another way to think about fueling. Might be right, might be wrong for you.
