Cliff's Notes:
Well run race, great option for small regional 1/2 IM for about half the cost of 70.3 events.
Long swim, super flat, fast bike, and hot rolling run.
4:47:04, PR by just over a minute, 37th overall.

That's the idea...I finally came around and got some lessons in April, and have since joined a master's team...so slowly but surely. It took me 3 years of consistent training to get where I am on the bike / run, so unfortunately it won't be overnight...otherwise I'd be having Kona delusions right about now, so maybe it's better I go into my first IM with a bad swim leg...it will make me more humble.
