Kicking air

No, I would say your fine. The suit adds that much bouancy. Really helps keep your hips up. If your body is completely horizontal, less drag = good thing! I don't really kick at all with the suit, my legs just trail.

Higher floatation with a wet suit . It just takes practice to keep the feet in the water less kicking. My first ocean race even without a wetsuit the feet were in the air. Feet will not come out if you roll a little more.

So in Wisconsin I had the first open water swim...it was awesome...much better than the the 90 degree YMCA pool...for many reasons!!
after putting my wetsuit on and swimming for a bit I kept feeling my feet break the surface while kicking ( and I dont realy kick much) ......
Whats up?? is it the wetsuit or am I out of balance...?
