I can make on of these vids. It's a text-to-video program. I've got plenty of notes. I just have to turn it into a dialogue. It'll take time; maybe over the break. Maybe some of y'all will make guest appearances.

Ha, Ha how often do we sit and drool over the latest bikes, wheels, extras, kit , clothing and gagets, push what you have to the limit then you know its time to upgrade. Hmmm if only I had those new race wheels.
That's hilarious! :)
This mentality doesn't just apply to us triathletes...I am a personal trainer, and I see it often with the "average" exerciser...ie: "new shoes will make me run better"...the bottom line is that ya gotta TRAIN!
Last weekend I did a race in the exact same shorts, shoes, and socks that I used in the same 4 mile race last year. The only difference was my new sunglasses. Amazingly, I was 40 seconds faster than last year. Can you believe that upgraded sunglasses made me 10 seconds per mile faster? I wouldn't believe it myself if I didn't witness it. Technology is simply amazing.

Man, I have GOT to get myself a pair of those sunglasses ; )
TryScott, you must have gotten the cheap carbon dimpled glasses. I bought the PRO version with the ceramic bearings so they open and close with as little friction as possible. I'm sure this gained me at least a minute per mile.
Last Sunday I went out on my Hybrid aluminium framed bike with my new Triathlon club who were all on Cervelos. I managed to keep up with them for about 5 minutes, they went up a hill and when I got to the top, the 3km stretch in front of me was empty. I never saw them again. ! I am sure it was because I had the wrong gloves on for the cold weather.
