I´m away of home living in Spain until next june and have no nbc coverage here. Just really BAD local TV.
Thanks in advance if anyone can be so kind as to help me out here ;)

You can also try this website.
I am not sure about linking, so hopefully this works. You can find just about any show you want live, but unfortunately, the quality is not usually very good.

Thanks for the tips.
I have tried hulu but it detects the european ip and doesn´t allow me to watch anything. It´s for US ip´s only.
Well.......... in the worst case scenario I will have to wait for it to come out on dvd.
Thanks guys.
Wait a day and look on
Wait a day and look on torrentz.com... not that I condone or participate in that kind of thing! ;)

I plan to videotape it. Remember VHS?
I'd mail you a copy if necessary.
Any of you wizards know how to record a program viewed on the internet?
Say, from Youtube or Universal Sports or Ironmanlive?

If it's not too difficult to
If it's not too difficult to turn a Direct TV recording into something that can be shared, I'll give it a try. My video capture device isn't exactly state of the art.
Thanks PoC!!!! I am thankful
Thanks PoC!!!! I am thankful for your intentions but around here these guys use PAL as a VHS system.
And for downloading from Youtube I have used Orbit once in a while don´t know if works on streaming media you´ll have to try.(you can search for it on cnet.com)

In Barcelona, Spain!
In Barcelona, Spain! Studying a masters degree, enjoying parts of the culture but definitely missing the other side of the world.
Can´t believe how many things we Guatemalans have in common with U.S. traditions and customs. I only watch US tv at home and these stupid and lame spanish tv shows are killing me!!! And of course that coming from a central america country I´m hurting with the winter temperatures. Have been struggling to go outside and train with the cold.

Tikal - I'm here in the States and we missed out, too. Thanks to the East Coast blizzard, our local NBC station was in "Storm Coverage" mode all day. I'm SO bummed!!
Tamara...I was pumped to
Tamara...I was pumped to watch it on the trainer last night and half way through....BAM! 20 minutes of storm coverage. Worst of all, in Northern CT we barely got 4 inches, hardly warranting the crazy coverage.
I have it DVR'd, if anyone knows how I could possibly do anything with that let me know and I'd be glad to.
I thought it would be on
I thought it would be on NBC.com or Hulu, but so far, no :(
Hey, I saw it and taped it
Hey, I saw it and taped it (yes, retro VHS)
I will be glad to share but I can't see how to digitize it.
I have learned that there is a consumer level machine from Future Shop that converts VHS to DVD but I won't be buying it in the forseeable future.
The Film footage - (slow motion swim footage was brilliant ) and
narration (Al Trautwig, while insufferable when patronizing professionals - who really know what they are talking about, has a gift of intonation that stirs even the hardened cynic) )was top drawer quality as usual.
The content, again as usual, ranged from appealing to the hard-core purist, eg: Macca being brutally, cockily, honest, Lieto ripping it on the bike, etc.
to appealing to non-triathlete viewers: the cancer survivor who missed the swim cut-off by 7 seconds, to Rudy Garcia to the woman who had a stroke 2 years ago, to the 79 year old guy who has done it 19 years in a row and made it 20 this year, God Bless him - inspirational to us all.

I've got an old school VHS
I've got an old school VHS tape of it that I'd be willing to gift out there to the TF community. T'is the season and all...
Hey! It can become the start of a TF lending library, where the only cost is for the current viewer to send it on to the next person?!
Do we have PM abilities on this site? Just thinking it'd be nice to not clutter up a thread with a bunch of address banter.

Has anyone seen it online anywhere? I've looked on Hulu and NBC but it's not there. It's going to be on Universal Sports sometime, but we don't have a working TV.

Christmas Day - be there!
Sucks... I'm in Canada... :( But a WHOLE DAY dedicated to Ironman if you get Universal Sports!

I have a DVD version that I recorded that I'll gladly share...PM me.
We could probably FTP the content for download by the community but I think we may get into copyright issues there, unless a torrent site was used (but that's still IMO not 100% cool.)
I can dig up directions on how to take a DVR recording and convert to MPEG / DVD - PM me if anyone interested. The process uses a couple of freeware apps...
