Still on my quest to obtain some sort of IM finisher certificate for my 1st Ironman, the 2004 Ironman Wisconsin. Now that the 2009 IMMoo edition has been completed, surely some of you have been emailed your finisher certificate. Anyone care to forward it to me at knemyer@aol.com, so that I can "create" a 2004 version? Actually, any other years will work, too. Thanks.

Take your medal, bib number, and buy a picture from the official race photographer that has your time on it. I think that would look way cooler than a certificate.

I don't remember getting one for IM FL but I did get the picture.
Did they just start producing them for the IM events recently?

That was also my first and I don't recall a cert either. I don't think they were given out. I have one from Ironman Germany if you'd like design ideas and/or just to see how they look.

The background picture for the louisville finisher cert was taken from the cover of the athlete guide. I think they do this for wisconsin also, its in pdf form, so if you have photoshop you should be able to just copy the cover photo and use that, or you can just go to the IM wisconsin website, results page, go to finisher certs and type in a random number, it displays in adobe acrobat, so you can save it to your hard disk, then just edit it. Would be cool if you could find an athlete guide from 2004, good luck.

They only have the current year certs on the website. If you go to any of the ironman home pages (not the ironman.com page) and click on results it will take you to the ironmancenter.com results page. This is the search database where you can filter all results. At the very bottom of the page it has a finisher's certificate section. But, only 2009 shows up.

Attach is the 2009 certificate, you should only have to PhotoShop the date and fill in your times. Good luck, hope this helps.
