Does your existing HRM support adding a cadence/wheel sensor? Many do (Garmin's, Polar, etc...).

So my new (used) bike came with a wired Cateye Astral. I really dislike the look of the wire ziptied to the down tube (esp vs the internal cable routing), so I will be pulling it off and giving it to my wife and getting a wireless. I'm looking at either the Cateye V2 or V3 (V3 adds a HRM). My hesitation on the V3 is that I already have a HRM that I would want when doing the triathlon itself, for the swim and run parts, but the integrated unit would probably be nice for bike training. Thoughts?
