Neuroma in the forefoot

I think I'm suffering some neuroma in my left forefoot. After my runs, I get this soreness on my outer part of my forefoot. My little toe and the toe next to it will sometimes get a tingling feeling. The pain goes away if I don't run for a couple days. Was wondering if anyone has suffered from this and what the best cure would be?

I have suffered through neuroma and if you catch it early, it resolves quickly. It occurs when a nerve that runs between your 3rd and 4th metatarsals get squeezed and swells and gets pretty painful.
I went to a foot doctor and he gave me an insert to wear in my arch - that took some of the pressure off the nerve - and I didn't run for a couple of weeks and took a prescription anti-inflammatory. There was still some pain after two weeks so the doctor gave me a cortisone shot and it's been fine ever since.
Go see a foot doctor and don't run for a few weeks because it won't get better if you continue to run on the nerve when it is still swollen.
I hope it feels better soon!

I had surgery for a neuroma in June. It took me until late August until I could train again. I would get it checked by a good podiatrist ASAP. If it gets worse you will have very severe pain. Mine hurt so bad that I was unable to bike over a mile and run over 300 meters. I hope that you don't have the problems that I had.

I wish you luck with it.

+1 on getting to the pediatrist ASAP. Catch it early and you can avoid surgery. Wait and you and frosty can share war stories...
And Welcome frosty! Always good to see a first post. (except when they're trying to sell something)
