Add a name to the list.
On my list:
R.W. Drinkwater...he was a well driller.
A guy I know who always seemed to be late: Justin Thyme.
Caution though...I know folks who enter races under assumed names because they don't want folks to follow their results for that race. They use names like Bunion, Heel and Patella.
I knew a woman who entered all of her training races, with a nod and a wink to the old TV show Hill Street Blues, as Lotta Gu.

So I ran a 1/2 marathon yesterday. Beat 2 hours for the first time ever, but still ran out of gas in the tank too early. Ran a good 2/3 of the race with my brother in law, who had just returned a little over a month ago from a tour in Afganistan. And my wife, who has never ran more than a 6k in her life, came speeding over the line in 2:06. All and all a great day I have to admit.
Reviewing the results online, I noticed another name to add to my list. My junior high band teacher was Mr. Scales. When my wife was delivering my son, we kept hearing pages for Dr. Killim and Dr. Ow. And now the man who finished 2 places after me goes by the name T. Siderstich. Sometimes I feel my life is like the Truman Show.
Cheers.
