2010 70.3/140.6
I've only ever done IMLP so I say...Do THAT one! The race is stellar, the course unique and the support awesome.
I'd love to do one in Europe... that's probably never going to happen, but if I were in your shoes I would. Germany or Austria.

louisville is still open, then FL, AZ and Cozumel are all in Nov, so, I imagine there will be some sign up online for those still...I am hoping to sign up for AZ myself :)
Taper Naked
Checkout Silverman IM - if you want a challenge :)
It's on my calendar for next year.

*Smile, it does a body good*
I'm thinking about Beach to Battleship in Wilmington, NC since I'll be stationed close by in Georgia next year. Silverman is high on my list and I probably would have raced there next year but I prefer the short drive to B2B.

I'm ticked off at the WTC today so I vote vineman chesapeakeman and the Roth challenge
what I'm up to:

I can't wait for IMLP and really enjoyed B2B, but if you're ok with forking out the $ on a community slot, keep forking and go somewhere exotic. I vote IM New Zealand.
There is also another indy 140.6 up in Plymouth, Mass.
IMUK looks cool and doesn't seem to get much hype.

Thanks peeps. I guess I am thinking IMLP 2010 or IMFL 2010; I saw that 140.6 in Plymouth MA I just love the IM races I feel there is more support, etc. I know a girl that did IMUK she loved it I just dont know if I want to travel international to race; I like to travel for more of a relaxing time...
Signed up for Timberman...I gotta check out Chrissie Wellington...
Vineman is a great race -- did it 3 years ago
Chesapeake is a great race -- one of my favorite simply because of the small venue.
IMLP is fantastic but closed
IM CDA awesome -- i think closed though
IM Louisville was a mixed bag for me -- swim was disgusting -- Ohio River / Bike -- was really nice course except for one section where traffic was borderline dangerous; run was a death march.
The one in Plymouth -- I heard is well run but the bike course pavement was terrible. I would be really interested if anybody knows more about this one than my meager knowledge.
anyways -- good luck -- have fun/tri hard/be kind
PS. Timberman is my favorite Half -- especially since it's in my back yard.

As my lazy a$$ sits on this couch I ponder should I do a IM next year or just a half??
I am thinking Timberman 70.3, maybe just to see the top Pros. But I am thinking about another full IM and I know most of the 2010's are closed out so I would have to get a community slot, I'm actually ok with that.
Can people rank the top 3 IM's (I know subjective)
I guess I am looking for a fun course with great spectators. (I would like to do IMLP, thoughts?)
thx for the help peeps
