Trained enough for Oly?

I have my first tri, a Sprint, on Saturday. Very excited! A couple of weeks ago, I realized I was basically on track for an Olympic distance anyhow in terms of training, so I've now signed up for an Oly next Sunday, but having a minor freakout. My longest distances are listed below:

Swim: 2000m
Bike: 30 miles
Run: 12 miles

Can you tell I'm a runner and a swimmer :)? Am I going to be okay for the Oly? I have run several marathons so I like endurance events, but just having last minute jitters.

Numbers look fine. How does your head feel? If you see yourself crossing the oly line do the oly, if you're unsure, hang off and do the sprint. Either way, have fun. Being your first I think it will go either way based on people's opionions...
Have you done some brick workouts? How did you feel during/after those?

Numbers look fine, as long as you're comfortable with the swim you should have a great day. Control the bike and run it on home.

+1 on Semper's suggestions for some bricks if you have time. Doing the sprint should be a great experience, and once you do that, you will feel much better about the Oly. Good luck!

+2, knock'm dead and make sure you have someone there to cheer loudly and take pictures.

Thanks for all of the encouragement! Done 5 or 6 bricks just not at full Oly distance, more in the 10-15 miles on bike with 4-5 miles run, so I think I'll be okay. I'll report back in when it's done!

+3 - You should be fine at the distances you're listing.

Best of Luck and keep us Posted.

. . . preferably all in the same week.

You said you're a swimmer and runner so you should be fine. Just save some energy on the bike and bring it on home! You might want to take a fairly easy week next week coming off oyur first Sprint tri, and then an Oly the following week. Again, you'll be fine but I wouldn't train too much the week before your Oly.

If it makes you feel any better before my first oly distance i hyperextended my knee slightly....took the tree weeks leading up to the race off basically and I finished... so I'd say you wil do great!

Is it enough? There's only one way to find out... go for it! You have a good base. Learn from doing the distance and prepare better/differently for the next one based on how you preformed and felt.

+1 Ace3 hit it right on the head.

Well, I'm all signed up for the LA Tri! Had my first sprint on Saturday and it went well. Pushed it so I'm still recovering a little, but I was pleased with the 1:15:00. Just doing the Oly to finish, so it should be fun! Thanks for all the encouragement - I'll let you know how it works out.
