Big difference in distance. Never did that race but hopefully will one day. I want to move back up there to CT. I grew up in Essex.
Just keep spinning....spinning, spinning....uh, do I know you?

Heard it is very hilly. The HIM is quite tough from what I have read.

No. You are awesome parents. She will learn more cheering for you at a race than she will spending one more day at a little desk in school. Have a great race!
That which does not kill me makes me faster...

My wife and I are heading out there in two weeks for the sprint and HIM. Anyone done this one?
As the crow flies, we are only about 30 miles from the site. But since we are in SE Connecticut, we could take the ferry and circle around from the north fork to the south fork. But that is a lot of time and money, so we are driving around the long way. About 200 miles one way.
But, my mom is coming along for the ride, so that makes it fun. My daughter will miss a day of school too. Are we bad parents? ;)
