Any Trifuelers going to Chessyman?
Hey! Good Luck! Sorry I won't be able to see ya this year. All the best in the swim..they don't call it the CHOPtank River for nothing! (actually an indian name, but they were spot on!)

Thanks Anton. Good luck in your 24 hours of cycling. Hopefully it won't be on the trainer this year.

I'll be there, doing the Aquavelo as a training day. Should be fun!

Hmm, it's looking like the swim may not be the only part of the event that's aquatic in nature. Different weather pages are showing a fair bit of rain for the weekend in the DC area.
At least it's not a terribly technical course, so it shouldn't dramatically shift the way folks take on the bike course.

Weather will be iffy at best. Hopefully the rain will hold off until late in the run.
Looks like another Chessyman with extreme winds (10mph sustained and 17mph gusts). The good news is that they changed the swim course from two years ago. At least it is somewhat protected now rather then heading out into the middle of the Choptank for a straight shot into the west wind.

Thanks Cayman. One of these days we are going to meet up. Maybe BlackBear in May. Forecast looks good. Rain is holding off but the winds are going to be strong. I can handle that.

Thanks Sharon. I am checked in. My bags are all organized and I am just hanging out waiting to take my bike to T1. The weather is perfect today. Hopefully it will stay this way.

Nice job Garen! You are now an Ironman! Looks like you were in the ballpark on all your goals, pretty solid!
I posted a race report on the first two legs of the race (Swim/Bike as part of Aqua-Velo). The weather held up at least until the run, which was good. Windy sure, but not pouring on the bike.

I am heading down Friday morning to check in. I know KXUK (Jan) will be there. If anyone else is going let's meet before the Friday early evening meeting at the Hyatt. We can sit and stress out together as we hear tales of incoming tides and choppy seas :-) Kidding. Sort of.
