"Oh Frabjous day!"
HOORAY for you, Anton! An injury that keeps you from doing what you love is the WORST! I am sure you will take it slow, and hopefully you will run as far and as long as you want very soon!

Why? Many people have asked me... to test my limits ... and to push beyond them.
Good to hear!
Hurray! Thanks for sharing the great news.
I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...
That's Brillig, Anton!
Anymore 'whining' about your foot pain and I would have to come down your way and pee in your shoe! ;-) LOL
Glad you can finally get out running. If I get down your way we'll have to get a run in then.
'Nothing to it, but to do it!'
Nice. Being pain-free is generally unappreciated but #1 in my books.
Take it easy.

I usually don't post stuff like this, But I'm about to bust my buttons!
Have been suffering with Metatarsalgia (nasty foot pain) for the last 6 months or so. The first chronic running injury I've had in 40 years. It trashed my IM in July and put the brakes on any serious running for the fall including my THIRD attempt to even get to the starting line of a Triple IM. My biking is strong thanks to a new cleat position but my running has been...well, I really haven't run in the last two months.
Today I got out for a six miler, very easy, and, well, nothing hurt! NO foot pain...Man! it just felt good to get out and move around...
Since I'm sort or re-starting, I'm beginning at the slow and easy end and building up for January...
Running has always been my first love, athletics wise, and to be back at it is...frabjous!
Just had to share...
