So is this legal for mass start, open water swimgs? http://www.backcountryoutlet.com/outlet/SSO0023/Six-Six-One-Pressure-Sui...

Only if concealed beneath a wetsuit?

It is regretable that people (not you) take seriously the jokes about OWS swimming being 'full contact.' It does not give carte blanche to assualt someone in the water.

I indeed am joking, thanks for picking that up. I agree. It's a race, not a demolition derby. I'm really not very worried about contact in the OWS. That clif bar OWS training spoof on youtube cracks me up all the time!

The poor guy from the CLif Bar video on 'how to survive a triathlon swim' would have been appreciative of this when the video was shot.

I prefer one of these for mass start OWS.

Yeah, this last open water swim was the worst for me. I was kicked in the face so hard that i had flash back of Tae Kwon Do as a kid. I wish I could say it put me off of the sport.
