Caution: This for training days prior to IMLP...not race week, or so I'm told. And the Cabin Bar IS a secret and always a good place for a drink... MUCH less crowded than the new "Dancing Bear" and more laid back than the "T-Bar."
Jeepers...I seem to know my way around the bars in Placid!

Years and years ago my brother lived in Placid. They made him the unofficial bouncer of the Lake Placid Pub and Brewery since he ate dinner there every night and so pretty much lived there. Not sure I knew that any bars except the LPPB existed!

I like the LPPB but...so does everyone else! Good fish and chips and good beer....but you can buy the same beer just about everywhere else in town.
And yes Scott...in my book training and beer go together...Life's too short for all this self denial malarky! ;)
