I've got a 5k run in SF tomorrow, mostly flat, mostly asphalt, total of probably about 200 competitors.
I'm on my school's cross country team, and my coach expects a time around 20 minutes or a bit faster.
I ran 5 miles early this morning, not too hard, and I usually run 7-8 every day throughout the week.
I carbo-loaded tonight and last night with pasta, but I'm vegetarian and can't really find a good source of protein.
Any suggestions on what else to eat tonight? tomorrow morning? And feel free to give me tips on strategy, I've never run with this many people before.

nuts or peanut butter (all natural) on your bagel/toast etc. Strategy wise, be prepared for the start to be hard and physical, first 1k-2k to be tough. Watch your pace times after you settle in, and be ready to really gun the last km. Good luck!
