There's some big races this weekend, seems like the TF community will be busy...

IMC
Good luck to KitKat, PoC, Jono, Zagfan, sasquatch, etc (I'm sure I've missed some)
Also, advanced thanks to the volunteers...kylie, toni, clint, and more

IML
Good luck to JohnieTri, lala, and derek and any others I might have missed
I know bes and myself will be volunteering...look for my TF hat at the finish (since I'm sure there won't be anything else on your mind, lol)

Chicago Tri
Not a whole lot of hype on the boards about this one, but good luck to crazyquick and xcrunner (who I'm pretty sure is going for elite qualification, correct?) and I'm sure the many others that will be there

Everyone spectating take pictures...go get them, and don't forget your race reports....should be plenty of reading material next week.

Nah... I'm lazy (I need to swim more), and slow (I need to ride more), and slightly fat (I need to run more). Oh, plus you have to be crazy fast (and not have a job, really) to meet the qualifying standards. I was about 6 minutes off pace at Hy-Vee, and dropped out of Chicago last year. I'm hoping for a miracle race on Sunday (and perhaps a solid draft on the bike to help pull me at 27 mph) but don't know how I'll get on. My races thus far this year have me predicted around 2:01, but I'm hoping to go about 4 min faster than that. Transitions might be the downfall, with 3:30-4:00 total running around like a headless chicken. But my bike does look like a clown got sick on it, so it ought to be pretty easy to spot.

Best of luck all.

Yeah, Chicago is a tough place to try to shave minutes off an Oly time. What with the long run to T1, mega transition area, and bike course crowds for the later waves.

Bike looks like a clown got sick...hmm. Please don't say you bought one of these: http://www.racycles.com/triathlon/complete-triathlon-bikes/look/look-596-mondrian-2010-bike.aspx

GL Trifuelers.

I know 4 people doing IMKY this weekend. One will be doing his first Triathlon, one doing his first IM, one is going for his first Kona, and one trying for 2nd Kona qualify. I'd much rather be trying to finish than qualify. It's not that I'm lazy, I just get really nervous. I'm nervous for them!
