How To sign up for Ironman 70.3?

I'm assuming the old 5430 website will still offer direction to signing up if it's available at this point. Otherwise, check in on ironman.com...they will post it under the 70.3 category in their events section sometime soon I'd imagine. This will link you to the main page of the race as well as to where to sign up (most likely active.com). I'm guessing it hasn't opened for registration yet though, since they don't have it listed.

The sign up for the series that 5430 Sports used to put on opens on October 1st of this year. There is a sprint in June, the Boulder Peak Olympic in July and then the new Boulder 70.3 in August 2010. I doubt there is any qualifying.

IM has just bought 5430 bluder race and will be Ironman 70.3 next year... i sooooo want to participate but dont know the right way of signing up for it? would it be like any other tri? like sprint or oly? or qualifiying? what is the proper way to sign up?
