Carbon Nimble Crosswind TRI-Spoke Wheelset
New or used? I concur with Anton's previously mentioned philosophy on two things he won't buy used: carbon-reinforced plastic and climbing gear. And apparently they aren't exactly svelt: at 1,656g (3.7lbs), the 700 clinchers probably weigh more than your frame. Add 400g for two Michelin tires, 140g for two tubes, and 75g for skewers and you have an exactly 5 pound wheelset. Hope you ride a flat course :)
I have a set of Nimble Crosswind Tubulars and have been very pleased with them. This is my 3rd season using them. They are about the same weight as a set of HED 3 tubulars and much lighter than a set of HED 3 clinchers. They are comparable in weight to my training wheelset, but noticeably faster. BTW - the folks at Nimble are very helpful. Although I purchased this set used, they have been very good at answering my questions.

Found a set of these for sale. Anybody have experience with tri-spoke wheels.
