putting on aerobars
i can't really say which aero bars would work best, but you should get fitted with your aero bars in place. you might have to change your stem and/or seatpost to optimize your position. also, make sure that you get a lot of experience in handling your bike with your new bars before you race.
Profile Design T2 Bars. i recently got them for my Gary Fisher Pro ARC and I love them. I didn't have to do much adjustment. It is a very aggressive position but it has helped my riding tremendously..... I gave me about 1-2 mph easy....
It is very weird riding i aero the first time for sure but once you get the hang of it. It is a very fun time..... I feel like I can ride forever....
I like the Profile Design T2+ as well. They're the only aerobars I've ever used, so I don't have anything to compare to, but I do like them.
As for the geometry, I found that I needed to move my saddle as far forward as it would go on its rails. I'd like to finally buy a tri bike this year, but if I decide that I can't afford it, I'm thinking of buying a seatpost with a bend in it, which will allow me to move the saddle forward even more. Here's one such seatpost: http://www.profile-design.com/profile-design/products/seatposts/aluminum.... I think Thompson makes one like that, too.
Shoot, the link I put in above doesn't work. Anyway, the seatpost I'm referring to is called Profile Design Fast Forward.

im looking to get a set of areobars for my specialized allez. Does anyone have any recommendations for a set of aerobars that works well with this bike. Also, how do you change your bike geometry once the new aerobars are added.
