Cutting time is cutting time! Way to go - sorry it wasn't a little more enjoyable!

So I did my first Oly of the season last sunday, and it was an OK performance. I didn't train the run nearly as much as I should of, and I had bad nutrition during the race. Because of both of those factors I hit a wall at the beginning of the run. Even though my race wasn't as good as I hoped I still cut 19 minutes from last year, so not too disappointing.
Swim: I Felt good on the swim and decided I would hold back just a bit so I would have enough left in the tank for the rest of the race. My shoulder felt a little overworked, I think due to my new wetsuit.
Time: 23:00 (-1:03)
T1: MY FASTEST T1 EVER!!! I decided to leave my shoes on my bike, and it really paid off.
Time: 1:09 (-1:05)
Bike: My bike leg felt good, but I didn't realize that it was 28 miles. I thought it was around 25.
Time: 1:30:07 (-11:18)
T2: My legs felt HORRIBLE after the bike and I had a slow T2.
Time: 1:16 (-0:01)
Run: I hit my wall and ended up walking a fair bit, but I did finish and I still cut a some time.
Time: a disappointing 1:04 (-5:11)
My overall time was 3:00:25, I still need a lot of work on the run and some work on the bike. I am starting xc training with my school today, so hopefully that will help my run for my next oly in September. This is a great event and I encourage anyone in the area to attend.
