IM Volunteering - Writing off your expenses

Well IM is not a charatable orginazation or non profit, I don't see how you could any more than you could for volunteering at a marahon.

Hmmm. Isn't Janus? Maybe there is a way to volunteer through Janus?

Well the Janus I know of is an investment group, so no it isn't.

I'm wondering is anyone has written of their expenses for volunteering at the Ironman? I'm driving out to New York next month and this would sure help the costs.
