Hey, so I'm doing a sprint in the middle of my season to break things up. the swim is not quite 3/4 of a km and i'm trying to decide if I should wear my wet suit or not. the water will be warm, and I would only be wearing it for the flotation (i'm slow in the water). At what point do you just say forget the wet suit and just swim?

When your comfortable or when the rules say you can't wear one.

Do you care about your time? If it takes longer to get the suit off than it saves, then ditch the suit.

Otherwise, suit up!

+1 For a sprint? Leave it at home. Unless you can get your suit off in like :05 seconds, you'll actually lose time wearing it.

When the water is under 68 or so, and when it's a 2.4 mile swim. Anything shorter or warmer, I skip the suit.
