Junior Competition

Check out the Junior and junior elite page at USAT: http://usatriathlon.org/content/index/1957
Probably the best resources you'll be able to find will be a regional athlete development coordinator, who have contact info at the above page. Also, look into contacting one of the high performance teams if there's one in your area. They should be able to help you figure out what you need to do to progress, or find better competition in your area. One benefit to them is that while they are difficult to become a part of, their support is top notch, and you will usually get free, professional coaching.

Hey all!! I have been doing triathlons for a while and am itching to see what else I can get out of the sport. I am 14 now, and was surfing on the USAT website and found a lot of stuff on junior elite, national, regional, and pan pac races. My dilemma is I can not seem to sort through all of the information, and find...
1) If I could qualify for any of these races.
& 2) what most of these events intale.
I have been doing sprint races and a couple olympics for around 4 or 5 years, but most of these events lack in competition for me. I am wondering if there is anyone out there that knows anything about these races, and how one can attempt to qualify. Any information helps, thanks!!!
