I used to like "pain is weakness leaving the body" but then i did my first HIM and then I realized a few hours in that pain is actually weakness entering the body.
If you go the motivational poster route, make sure you throw in one of these (probably on the back of the door) to keep it light and keep any visitors guessing...

My wife and I decided to turn our guest bedroom into a workout room. It's looking really nice with a trainer, Bowflex, a big high speed fan on the all, LCD TV/Monitor, and soft mats on the floor. I thought about decorating it with inspirational posters, but then I had the idea to write quotes on the walls. I remember reading this thread a while back with some good quotes in it. Let me know what good ones I'm missing. We aren't sure how many quotes we'll put up, but here are the ones that I like so far. Only one from Patton and Bear Bryant will be used, but they are all good and I'm not sure which...
""Life should NOT be a journey
to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and
well preserved body, but rather to
skid in sideways, Champagne in
one hand - strawberries in the
other, body thoroughly used up,
totally worn out and screaming

a Ride!'"
