CGI Racing Black Bear Triathlon this weekend!
I will be there for the sprint as well. Don't think you have to worry about me and the podium. Shooting for a 1:36.

Great course, did the HIM last year!
The swim is fantastic and, oh yeah, enjoy the hills guys:)
I've got a CAT5 (uh, yeah, I know... it's my first year in USAC, so no ridiculing too much, okay?) road race Saturday morning and a wedding to get to immediately after (don't worry ladies, its not mine), so I'm not going to be there.
Good luck. Get out of the water in a good position and the rest will fall into place. Oh, and hammer the uphills and recover on the downs on the bike.
The bike course is hilly. There is one in particular that begins after a sharp right turn that is a killer. The run course makes up for it though. Mostly flat and fast. It isn't 5K though. More like 3.5 miles. Don't expect to see a mile marker after mile 2.

gfd - good to hear that you will be there. Finally I'll have opportunity to hand you your hardware from Quakerman. Sorry I always forgot to get it to the post office. It is still collecting dust next to my desk. I'm doing the half on Sunday - and yes I have done the whole bike course last week and it is hilly. Looking forward to that race.
By the way the sprint course misses on some really good hills in two sections which is a shame for you guys. The run is fine with just one uphill in the woods, otherwise rolling terrain. Just watch at the finish - save energy to jump that ditch and sprint up the hill. They know how to get to you ;-).
Good luck guys and look for me - sleeveless 2XU wetsuit, black Specialized S-works (not the current version) with HED H3 wheel set and black one piece tri suit.
I won't be there...but my wife will! She's going up with our friend Janet to watch and cheer...
Janet is a Trifuel lurker, rides a Giant TCR1 Silver and red...She just had to get in an HIM before IMLP!
I'll be home....alone...riding back to back centuries and getting in a long run.
Good luck all!

I will be there doing the HIM. I'm using this race as a fitness gauge to see how well I'm progressing towards my A race (Musselman in July). I'm looking forward to the hills. I'll be in a red/black Zoot tri suit and riding a red/silver Giant OCR2 and rocking a white nike hat on the run. Weather is supposed to be very nice - 77 and sunny.

Jan I will find you. Hopefully I can meet everyone else. I will be wearing a black Trifuel top and black 2XU tri shorts. I have a black Cervelo P2SL. Will be with the 40-44 age group section of the sprint. I am planning on getting there just before 6.

This is my first non-drafting race of the season! I'm doing the sprint (750m swim, 18 mi hilly bike, 5k run). I really want to pick up my first overall win this year, as long as TriGator or xc800runner arent in the race (sorry for any else ridiculous triathletes on this forum, i only know those 2). I think with the way training has been going i should be able to pull out a podium finish at least. Anyone else doing this race (sprint or HIM-distance)?
