4 points today, how is everyone? I am on 73. I am happy with todays performance dissappointed with my week, but a bust disc isn't very forgiving..... trying to be gentle with myself.

walking pushups are when you push up, you scoot one arm (and foot) over, then the other, then do another push up, and so one, alternating direction (so you are moving to the right for however many pushups, then to the left for the same #)
t pushups are when you push up, you lift your right arm and twist your body so you're sort of in a side plank position, then you set your right arm back down, do a push up and repeat with the left arm and twist to the other side.
I am sorry if my explanations don't describe the torture adequately.

3 more days left in the challenge. I will keep the streak going but will not start another Core Thread until the end of July. I am going to be at the beach for a week. This week will be killer workouts on the bike and in the pool. Then 6 days of running and rest to recharge the batteries for the last 7 weeks of IM training.

Hey Wannakona you are not the back marker.... :-)
77 in total and it's the final day...... I have not done a thing since last Friday was away with the family camping, my workouts were throwing my 30 Kilo son for about an hour and half up in the air in the pool....in the outdoor heat and a bit of swimming.
Many thanks for the challenge, sorry I crumbled near the end... ...
I promise to double my points for the next challenge...End of July will give me time to prepare..

I went 90 miles on the bike today. 95% of the time I was in the aero position. I would never have been able to do that without all the core strength I have gained over the last 200 days. All the pain was worth it.

Round 4
Core through the race season and summer should be a challenge. As always, everyone is welcome to participate as much as or as little as you would like.
Rules:
1. 100 reps = 1 point.
2. 1 minute of timed exercises(planks etc.) = 50 reps.
3. Core specific exercises only. Abs, obliques, lower back.
4. Begin May 26 and End July 14 (The 14th counts for total pts).
5. You are NOT out if you miss a day, but the goal is to work the core for 50 straight days.
6. On this thread, we can post our daily or weekly totals and share routines/results. etc.
7. The picture page can be used for those interested in before and after pics.
8. Pushups should be counted separately and should remain in their own category.
50 pushups = 1 point.
9. Determine the added worth of certain exercises and give yourself the extra points.
Ex. Reverse roman chair leg raises might be worth double. So 50 = 1 point.
This is not a competition, it is for personal improvement, so this won't be a problem.
