Wet Suit repair (glue/adhesive)

What kind of wetsuit do you own? I know that Ironman wetsuits will replace a suit if the stitching or zipper malfunction. You might try calling the manufacturer to see if you can return your suit and have them ship you a new one before the weekend.

a cheap one :-) used it for rafting (farmer john),,,<$100 so I really have gotten my $$$ worth.
I have some PVC glue...vinyl liner (shower pan glue)..just wondering what would work.
Around my zipper, some threading and glue have ripped away.
I am not near a dive shop or anything, but I am going to "re-thread" and then glue back where the adhesive was...what kind of glue (that I can buy at a Home Depot/Walmart, etc;) can I use or is recommended? what about Silicon caulk?
Race is in <48hrs.
