My race report is up on my blog...would've copied it over, but there are pictures that would've messed things up.

In short...didn't hit goal time, but C race so oh well...and first top 10 OA finish, pretty sweet.

This is still the craziest swim I have ever seen.

I have a couple more pics I meant to add...one is a panned out view of almost the entire swim course...and another is a group of 4 or 5 competitors standing up and walking around a buoy mid-course b/c the turns are so awkward and the pool so shallow in those parts. There's one more of a guy who apparently trained his shallow water entry skills and just sprinted high-knees 2/3 or more of the way across the first length of the pool and got a substantial lead on his wave...

I'll try to remember to upload them tonight

I posted the rest of the swim pics anyways...even if they're only for your enjoyment Sooner.

I honestly didn't know anyone was actually following my blog...I'm gonna have to step up the content now ;)

Interesting race. I would have liked to have done it, but had another race scheduled. Not near as fast as you though.

That is a totally wacky swim! Congrats on your race and hanging in there to outsprint your follower to the finish line.
