one of my favorite races is tomorrow :)
I have fond memories of this race as well. I met my wife there!!!!!!!!

very cool. enjoy the day.
Have a great day!
And how did it go? Still waiting for results from St. Anthony's bike/ run to see how my friends did.
Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.
It was a fun day! Slightly different course this year, but it really just meant that the run to the swim took longer than the swim itself :)
And I LOVE watching the kid's tri after! And this year they had a course change, too -- and had to go through inflatable obstacles on the run! I was jealous.

Happy Tri-versary to you and Mr. Kylie.
I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...
awesome!
did it turn out to be the same exact day as the one when you met?
It was April 30th that year (I just had to look it up). But close enough ;)

It was the second tri I ever did... and I've done it every year since. And I'm glad I have -- because it is the race at which I met Mike (my awesome husband). And it's tomorrow, and I'm excited. Not because I ever think I will do well at it (it seems to fall on days I would rather enjoy than hurt on), or because it is a supercool race just on its own (although it is fun). But because it has great memories for me :)
So I'm glad this little local event is still going -- and I will say "stay right" for all the bike loops (and maybe Mike will recognize me as he passes me this year), and get in a pool for a 100 yard swim, and have a great prize waiting for me at the end, like he always does*
* ok so he has missed a few, but when he can be there he is
