do not read this!

hi all!

ok, so i guess i have to explain this. I usually e-mail my papers to myself so that i can't lose them. (there is no way i can keep track of those flashdrives). well, the IU e-mail is down! i have no way to save the document because i did the work on a school computer. after a few minutes of thinking i remembered that you can attach files on our forum. I AM REALLY REALLY SORRY IF THIS CAUSES ANY PROBLEMS!!!!!!! i have no other option, at least that i can think of.

on a positive note, if you are interested in a excerpt from a paper about gus grissom you are in luck!

again, especially to you tribro, i'm sorry for abusing this forum.

Awesome idea!

This is the kind of thinking on the fly that will carry you far! Smart move.

I'm going to edit it and provide snarky critique. But if you really wanted someone to not read it, you could have titled your post, "What kind of buy should I buy?" (Just kidding.)

Needless to say, we all read it!

anton, care to write me a recommendation?

tribro, i'm back home and have the attachment on my computer. do what you will with the thread! thanks again.

dude, you totally could have used gmail

Great idea but g-mail may have been the better solution to keep all of us old geezers from opening and reading.

However ++ for out of the box thinking and I am glad that I don't have to write such papers anymore. Now to get to the level of having a secretary so she can write them for me......

...or hotmail....I didn't read it. Not in the habit of downloading random stuff off the internet (for my computers safety). Hello you can get a memory stick and hang it around your neck if you have to, stick it on a key ring........ :)

Your title will make this one of the most read posts in trifuel.

Yeah free net email accounts are the way to go...

Google Docs. Check it out. Great way to keep docs offsite and they are even share-able.

cheers

I glanced at it. It looks good. I could never write papers with all the annotations like that, I'm sure you'll get an A. Or a Check+.

I saw Grissom and immediately thought, This kid's doing a paper on CSI? Jealous." Not really since I never watch the show, but the concept of writing academic papers on television plot lines piqued my interest. Needless to say, I was sad to see this wasn't on that topic.

You may want to check into editing for punctuation and repeat sentence structure. There are a few commas missing and/or inserted where unnecessary, and the 3rd sentence of paragraph 2 should probably begin with something other than "The Chicago Tribune published," as you used that exact phrase to open the paragraph. Otherwise, quite informative, and a nice read.

good read, thanks,

like moth to flame...i couldn't help myself
:)

xc800runner- grissom's character in CSI was named after gus grissom,
thanks for the free editing, watch the open quotes in your post! (i kid, i kid)

I noticed the open quotes too. I'll lash myself in repentance when I get home from work.

Interesting info on the character. Going from the info in your excerpt regarding Gus' calm demeanor, I can see the parallels in Grissom from CSI.
