noisy pedals
Sure its the pedals. Could it be the cranks creaking, which usually indicates a crank not tightened properly.

Or the bottom bracket. I've never heard of pedals squeeking. But I googled "disassemble look pedals" and came up with a bunch of other discussions and some pics. I bet you'll just have to end up taking them apart, cleaning and lubing, and give that a shot.
They are Look pedals, the ones the Keo replaced (no idea of the make any more).thanks!
Look Delta? Might be good to know if you ever have to replace cleats (I'm on cleat set #3 on my road shoes in the last year and a half).
As for the noise issue, one set of my Keo pedals do the same. There's a distinct click at about 5 o'clock in the left pedal stroke. It's a result of the clamping mechanism slipping a little and the plastic sleeve being out of alignment, combined with the tension adjuster not functioning whatsoever, so they're a bit loose. Every couple weeks I'll dump in some T9, and it seems to solve the problem. I thought about disassembling the pedal, cleaning/lubing, and reassembling, but I couldn't determine how I was going to take it apart, let alone get it back together.
It's a new bike with my old pedals on it, just had the bb and crank checked, it's all fine. It's a gritty grindy noise. I am scared to pull them apart too...I did the google thing, saw nothing helpful. What's Sheldon the bike guru's site? He must have something on it - he knows all!

Hey all,
My pedals are pretty noisy and I am hoping to be able to pull them apart to clean them and lube them. Any advice? I don't have a LBS and you all may remember my history with the great seatpost adventure. Any links or pics would be cool. thanks!
