Which Bike Floor pump?

I own the wrench force floor pump. It always "sticks" to the valve and it is a major pain to get it off the stem of the tube. In fact the other day it ripped the valve/stem clean off the tube. It also has torn up several topeak valve extenders.

I had the head/nozzle replaced by trek, but that didn't solve my problem. So now I am looking for a new pump, one that doesn't stick.

Has any body else had problems with the Wrench Force pump. Ironically it was ripped the stem out of a bontrager tube.

Any suggestions for a good pump?

the bike shop i work at carries a bunch of floor pumps, and a favorite is the specialized comp or the specialized pro pump. Both of them (both of the specialized) have lifetime warranty and they fit both presta and shrader valves without having to change anything. As for the warranty, if anything ever stops working or breaks on it, my bike shop immediately gives you a new one without questions. Its that easy (at least for my bike shop-i cant promise that for yours). I have it and mine hasnt had any troubles for over 2 years. thats just my 2 cents

I once used a specialized pump about 3 years ago when I was out of town. I remember how much I like the pump compared to mine. Maybe that is the way to go.

I use the lowest end floor pump offered by Trek, couldnt tell you the name of it. Its like $30 with a lifetime warranty. Havent had any issues with it, had it for a year and use it regularly on both presta and schrader valves. It has the self adjusting head with one hole for both valve types. My older wrench force pump with the two holes was a piece of junk.

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

wow, Joe Blow is my favorite, and was the #1 choice on the bike tours I lead over Silca, Park Tool, and a few others! I think it's the easiest on (even with cold fingers) and clean off, cheap, has lasted as long/longer than the Silca's ... yada yada yada....

My specialized works fine, when I can figure out which way to flip the lever. Maybe I just need to attend a "tire inflation for morons" class or something.

I use the lowest end Serfas brand floor pump. It cost about $25 and it's an all plastic construction but I've been using it for the past 5 years with no problems. I'm just very careful when I handle the pump and presta valves. I never yank or pull things apart hard.

all i know is steer clear of cheapies. i have one of those schwinn one's that's like 20 bucks - the 1100 or something. terrible. i have a nice compressor at my parents house with a variable valve pump and i figured i'd pump the tires up when i do maintenance there and use this here and there at home when i needed it. it's awful.

I too have a Joe Blow and it is great...fills tires from flat to 100 psi in a few pumps, I have no complaints.
