That's unfortunate. This would have been the first race with Contodor, Leipheimer and Armstrong all racing together. It would have been great to see the dynamic unfold and see if Contodor and Armstrong actually are capable of working side by side racing on the same team during the same race. I guess it's goodbye Giro. I hope this doesn't kill his TDF chances. But hey... this guy seems to thrive on adversity and hardship so I won't count him out yet.
