Has anybody used the Zipp Carbon Brake Pads?

I bought a set for a set of HED 3C Carbon Wheels, and after 150 miles the Zipp Brake Pads are trashed. I've double checked for correct installation, and brake rubbing while riding.

After just 10 or 15 seconds of braking, I can see the pad almost melting. After a 20 mile ride, the brake pads have a tail on the downward side of the brake. Another 5 or 6 hard rides, and these brake pads will be down to the metal holders.

I am a Clydesdale, but there is no way I should burn through a brake set that quick. I have a set of Kool Stop Carbon Pads that just arrived, and I think I'll put them on at 200 miles and see how well they do.
