Hello All -

My name is Rob Bush. I am new to the TriFuel group. I use to do triathlons several summers ago. I've since transitioned to bike racing (please don't hold that against me) .

I'm writing on behalf of my girlfriend, Morgan Haley. Morgan would like to begin doing one-on-one swim coaching with beginner to intermediate level swimmers in the Louisville, KY area. Morgan recently retired from swimming for the Lakeside Seahawks swim team. She swam competitively for ten years, the last three of which were for the SeaHawks National team. Morgan specialized in FreeStyle and BreastStroke. She is a former Kentucky State Champion and has swum against Olympians at numerous high-profile meets.

Morgan, however, is more than just a good swimmer. She knows how to teach swimming. Since retiring, she has taken a couple different youth swim coaching positions - the LakeSide Quarry Gators and the Mary T. Meagher HammerHeads.

If you are interested in one-on-one or small-group swimming help, you may contact Morgan via email... homeschooljocks@gmail.com or wearethehaleyfamily@gmail.com
or you can contact me via email... rbush108@marian.edu

Morgan has very flexible hours. She would be able to negotiate with anyone about coaching costs.

Thank you for your time.

Rob, sounds like she has great qualifications and all but... usually it's nice to not have your first post at a message board be advertising something or someone, especially if you're not active yourself in the purpose of the message board, training and racing triathlons.

Alright girls....this is Morgan. You triathletes need to give my boyfriend (Rob Bush) a break. The only reason he posted that note is because I am not familiar with these types of sites and he was just trying to help me out. I am interested in coaching any triathletes in swimming freestyle who need help on technique, kicking...etc. And not to sound rude, but just for your information, Rob has participated in many triathlons and is currently a National Road Cyclist having traveled all over the world to bike races.....so I think it is unfair to call him "inactive" as far as intensive training and racing are concerned. Ok, just thought I would clear things up.

I don't believe anyone doubted his sincerity or abilities. If "I" were trying to start a business however I would not think to send my husband, boyfriend etc out to sites to get clients. I would do the research and work myself (as someone who DOES consult) and not rely on someone else. Why would I hire you if you can't take the time to do the work?

Ok, I totally understand that if I were trying to "start a business" but I'm not. I am an 18 year old still living at home looking for a part time job. And believe me...I have put in a lot of my time and effort looking for jobs around louisville.....It just so happened that this time around my boyfriend asked me if he could help out and it was very sweet of him. As he stated above I currently have a job coaching but the season ends in two weeks. So basically all I'm looking for are some triathletes who wanted some help with their swimming. I'm not trying to start a major business or make this a really big deal.....I'm just looking for a job thats lets me keep doing something I love.

Rule #3 in the Forum rules:

3. Keep the BS out of our forums. We don't want to see: spam, advertising of products/services/websites, group buy posts, politics, war, religion, porn, racism, drugs, illegal activities, girlfriend/boyfriend/relationship discussions, hot chick threads, post-whoring, misinformation, bickering, etc. Be mature, act like an adult, and know the difference between acceptable behavior and childish behavior. This applies to public forum posts, private messages, and email.

No offense at all Morgan, but I'm reasonably sure that this rule is there for a reason. More than a couple of us on these forums are also swim coaches, triathlon coaches, etc. etc. and if all of us were advertising our stuff on the forum it would really clog it up. I understand where you're coming from as I'm a swim coach and a triathlon coach myself and it's always nice to have more business. But I think it's best if we use these forums as they're intended (per the Rules) - to share information, advice, support, and encouragement to fellow triathletes.
