Powerlung trainer - sport
might be more valuable with smoke...
How does the saying go? "A fool and their money are soon parted"
That thing reminds me of the ball thingy they gave my dad when he wound up in the hospital and on bed rest because of a kidney stone issue gone awry.
He had to blow into it and keep the ball at some arbitrary number some number of times per day. Did it work, don't have a clue. But it kept him busy until he got better and threw it in the trash.
With the warm moist environment of breathing into it all the time, that things might harbor bacteria that'll get you bronchitis if you don't keep it real clean.
If you really believe in it, just pick up a straw from a fast food place and breathe through that real hard. It's cheaper and disposable.
Dude, wait, what? You spent $99 on that thing? You could've had the same effect by breathing through some free drinking straws. Whether or not it works, I have no clue. But I want a youtube vid of you riding your bike on your trainer huffin' and puffin' through that kazoo lookin' thing.
You could also pay someone to hold your head underwater ;-)
I haven't heard any good reviews on them by anybody legitimate.

don't forget to get the Powerlung Wash http://www.all3sports.com/product_info.php?pName=powerlung-wash-16-oz
you don't want to keep riding with a dirty powerlung, do ya
instead i always go to 7/11 get the biggest gulp and get the thinnest straw and drink slushy out of it really really fast, especially it gets hard when a peace of ice gets stuck in the straw, then it's more work....

I saw these things on all3sports.com and they obviously claim that they improve your lung capacity (all bs products usually make claims-so this is why im asking). Is this product actually good or are they just blowing smoke?
