hey all...im lookn to build up a draft legal bike...any suggestions on a frame??? ex...road frame..or tri frame...brand...name of frame??? im a fan of felt...i have a felt B2 that i use for USAT races

If you get a flat, and don't have a tube, Suck it up and run it in!!!

are you trying to draft the clermont boys , the elite wave is nothing but drafting esp. at the clermont sprints. :cool: are you hitting the windmere ride ?

Go with a lightweight carbon frame, drop bars with STI and short UCI legal bars. Most of you training is in the road position, so make it as comfy as possible. Think about roadie style pack riding and get as much time in the saddle as you can riding in groups of 5 or more. This will best simulate the pacelines and breakaways so common to draft legal races.

im not sure i follow the first part of the statement...i race in the age group...and have heard that the elite wave of the series is illegal drafting...but...no i havent heard of the windmere ride..

dont you live in orlando ? go do the windmere ride. if you are a decent rider it leaves on sunday. big, big group. probably 50+ riders every sunday. do you want directions to where it starts?

i raced in ELite a couple times over in celrmont because the field was getting so big that the course was getting to crowded on a sprint course , i never placed in the elite cat but it made me faster.

yea i do live n orlando....who is the group sponsord by?? (what organization...ORC, Florida Freewheelers.etc...)

i always race age group because i wont get my points for national rankings (or so ive heard)
