hey guys, I had two flats this morning. one right after the other. I had the patch kid and fixed it to continue with the long ride. it took me 17 minutes to fix the first and 14 minutes the second. it sucks! that's a lot of time! it's about 10 miles wasted for me. I'm wondering how long does it takes you to fix a flat in the road.

I don't use a patch kit unless i run out of tubes. Lately I've been carrying only one tube. Takes me about 5 minutes to replace a tube.

yeah i just carry tubes, tire lever, and a pump too... ~5 min max... I'm generally very lucky on the road. I don't weigh much and I brush off my tires after I run over anything suspicious so I probably get about one flat per year (and I don't use any special flat protection tires... ).
I can replace both tires and tubes from my training set to my racing set in my room in about 10 min... (I'd love to get a set of race wheels so it would be like one minute though)
