I'm hoping you're talking about biking on a trainer. You should NEVER have headphones on while riding on the road!!!

How about, 'Kryptonite' by 3 Doors Down, or 'Run Like An Antelope' by Phish... I can't run with this song on the iShuffle, I get way to cranked up.

Cycling on the trainer of course, I want to hear the pick-up behind me BEFORE he tries to put me in the ditch....

My trainer rides are usually 60-90min., so I like stuff that keep me pumped for the whole spin: Metallica!

I love this song out by Big and Rich "Save a horse, Ride a cowboy"
Also LOVE A tribe called quest for running.
G-love and the special sauce and Jack Johnson are a couple of cool jams. Not mind blowing pump up music but nice and up beat
Also really like the 3 doors down jams

Although I get no sponsorship, if you own an indoor trainer and want to get the most out of your workouts, try the Carmichael Training Systems (CTS) Time Trial tape or DVD. I watch it on my Cyclops fluid trainer (actually did it again today...before Easter dinner) and if listen to Chris Carmichael's instructions you'll be pretty smoked afterwards but somehow stronger for the next session. Highly Recommended. My iTunes library: Metal

I'd post links to these songs for download, but I don't wanna get tribro in trouble ;)

These are some of the popular ones I like:

Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up
Blur - Song 2
Crystal Method - Get Busy Child
Crazy Town - Butterfly
Von Bondies - C'mon C'mon

I'm not into techno, but these always get me going:
- Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out
- 50 Cent

Many people may not agree with this one but an instrumental version of the national anthem is awesome for long runs/bikes. I don't care if you're patriotic or not, just try watching an american gold medalist at the medal ceremony. it will forever get you pumped by that song.

Sisters of Mercy: Temple of Love, More, Dominion
Dope: Burn
Nine Inch Nails: Sin, Head Like A Hole
Velvet Revolver: Slither
White Zombie!!!!
Apoptygma Bezerk: Love Never Dies

Those songs (and artists) never fail to get me going.

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

Sister Hazel is one of my favorites:) But they are my favorite band, too, so I guess it's a little biased... But seriously, they have great beats, songs, lyrics, etc.

Also like anything dance/techo/remixed. Isn't it amazing how a really good song can give you that second wind???

Anyone who thinks it dangerous to ride on the road with headphones should probably still have training wheels on there bike. First off- grow a pair, then rock out with your #@ck out.
Incubus rules
Audioslave is the $hit
Jack Johnson in the man
Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Velvet Revolver, G Love and the Special Sauce
And I highly recommend an I Pod Shuffle. I got the 1 gig - 12 hours of love man. That thing rules
