Need help deciding which cervelo...
New = warranty + crash replacement + peace of mind. Used = none. At the same price, in my opinion it's not a question of which one to get. New all the way.
I build my bikes personally, but I always make sure to have a receipt for the frame and fork in the event that I crash/it falls apart.
I question the "nice"-ness of FSA carbon wheels. 1) Unless they're k-force, the quality isn't that great of any of FSA's products (with the exception of the new slk-light cranks), 2) They're used carbon wheels, so you don't know what they've been through and people tend to lie about how much use their equipment has when they try to sell it. 3) You already have Hed Jets, which you know the history of, and probably don't want to mess with tubulars (since you got Jets instead of the more aerodynamic Stingers).
Plus, if you're getting the S1 from a shop, you'll get at least a year of free tune-ups, which will be over $200 in savings (unless you wrench yourself). I'd only buy used if I saved 40+% off new.
+1 Peace of mind is very important. You never know what a used bike has been through, when you know exactly what a new bike has been through...nothing ; )

Yeah I'd go with the new... is your P2C campy? I like to keep mine the same for sharing wheels/components/etc over time.

I am normally the type of person that is in the used crowd, but in this case I would probably go new. However, I don't think that people abuse their bikes as much as people think they do when they buy them used. If it is a $50 Huffy, that is one thing, but if someone is plunking down that much money for a Cervelo, odds are that they took pretty good care of it. I do agree with Kylie on keeping my bikes with the same components, it is nice to be able to swap, but I don't think that it would be a deal breaker for me.
My P2C is actually Dura-Ace, however, the 'MRS' has a full campy Bianchi 928, so I guess either way, components could be shared. I do see your points with buying new.
I'd go with the new S1 but probably just because the marketing is fresh in my head. Bikesport put out a good article on a dual use bike, and while it sounds like you have tri vs road covered well, it would be nice to have something in the stable as easily convertible as the S1. If things ever got bad, you could unload the P2c and still have something that would work great for road and tri. It sounds like its harder to make a tri specific bike suitable for use as a road bike. I'm not trying to hawk bikesport, there just my LBS and I find they have a ton of information. if you care to see the article it is here; http://www.bikesportmichigan.com/reviews/CerveloS1-2009.shtml
ITHINKICAN....great article. I appreciate the link.
Glad I could help! good luck with your decision.

I am stuck here everyone, and am defintely asking for some opinions. On the block are two cervelo's, one of which I will buy in the few days.
First, is a lightly used (no marks/scuffs/scratches) 2005 Cervelo soloist team. This bike is campy equipped, w/ a alpha q fork, fsa carbon team crank, and fsa 28mm box wheelset. This ride also coms with some nice fsa carbon tubulars (unknown exact model) approximately 48-50mm deep. Less than 1500miles on bike.
Second, a 2009 Cervelo S1. Nice color scheme to match my decked out P2C. Already have a Hed Jet wheelset I can put on it, but mainly I am considering this as my other option as it is brand new.
Let's just say that both bikes are currently within $100 of each other, and I am having a hard time figuring out which would be the "smarter" option. Also, I was wondering if anyone knew if the new 2009 model framset was any lighter than prior years.
Thanks for any of your advice, opinions, and help.
