I got a trainer last night and I can't get my back wheel attached to it. One side seems to go on properly, but the other side won't go on because of my latch. Am I missing something, or am I totally off base.?.?
Any help would be helpful.
Thanks!

What kind of trainer what kind of skewer do you have?
I don't know about all
I don't know about all trainers, but with my CycleOps, you can't use your normal skewer. You have to use the skewer that came with the trainer or it won't work. If you are in fact using the skewer that came with your trainer, I'm not sure.

you should have received a
you should have received a round-headed stainless steel skewer with your trainer if it's a cyclops
i have found that other skewers fit, but that's hit or miss, so to speak.
btw, make sure you have the receiving fitting rotated around the right way to match up with your skewer...there's usually a wider cutout on one side of the trainer skewer-holder

Odds are you are supposed to use a specific higher-durability skewer.
