Hip pain
Hey this will be my first post on this site however my two cents leads me to think that you may have a condition called meralgia paresthetica. It sounds like this may happen because of the impingement of your lateral femoral cutaneous nerve under your inguinal ligament with your extreme flexion being in the aero position. Old motorcycle riders used to get this with wearing chaps and having their hips in so much flexion for extended periods of time. I would continue to stretch which may help out a little, especially stretch hip flexors and the anterior hip, along with ITB stretches. Hope this helps and am definately open to other thoughts and opinions.
Check out a few websites...and you can google, webmd'it.
Thanks for the reply. Certainly sounds like you figured it out. I appreciate it
It might get better with the stretching and doing more time on the bike.
However you may want to have your bike fit checked as well.
Also if you go to a chiropractor explain your issue. They might be able to help.
My chiro has been a big help.
Good luck!
'Nothing to it, but to do it!'

Hi all. I've been having a problem with a nerve or something that feels pinched when I get in the areo position. It's sort of in the front hip flexor area where your leg bends. It get a sharp shooting pain in that area. I've been trying more stretches to see if that helps. Some days the whole area justs aches, so much today that I'm taking Ibuprofen before my run. Runs don't bother it, just cycling.
Thoughts?
Thanks
