Anyone use these things? I caught wind of them a little while back, saw the price tag, picked my jaw up off the floor, put them out of my mind for a while, read Steve Larson's article, and now am curious about them again. Looking for thoughts and feedback. Thanks.

you'll get sides going back and forth all day on the slowtwitch forum and even on this one. I think they work only for certain people but i could be wrong. I recently got them (off of ebay for 400) and love them. I'm already starting to see a LITTLE bit of results (after around 2-3 weeks) but i'm gonna stick with them for probably at least 3 more months to see what they can really do. If i havent plateau'd at that point ill probably still use em. I started a forum about this a while back cause i was curious. You can search powercranks in the search feature on this site and its the second link down. Hope this helped

My husband and I both use them. For me, using the cranks helped me build strength efficiently. It's hard work. I've also read debates on their usefulness. For our house, we love the cranks.

I am curious about this also, and also started a thread a long while ago. I have been having knee pain recently (after my marathon) and found out my quads and IT bands dominate my legs so much that my hammys, glutes, and hip flexors aren't able to compensate and keep my knee in line. Thus, I'm curious if powercranks would help with that since they supposedly really help your hip flexors...

Any input?
