Indoor setup
If anyone posts an outdoor picture of sunny California with a comment like "this is where I ride in winter"... so help me, I will kill a puppy!
+1 A CUTE ONE TOO!!!!
Should be about here today so I will be riding outside. I rode my trainer for my first IM and thought I would kill myself in boredom. Never again. If I cannot ride outside then I just won't ride (thankfully there are USUALLY not too many days like that). I guess that's why I am not that great, but thats ok. I do tris for fun. Riding inside is not fun.
Nice set up though! I did go out and "reclaim" my work out area in the garage this weekend where my bowflex is and did my first workout on it yesterday.
I find my bike to be a little big for the house but it does the trick
That's what i call an organ donor bike!Especially here in the south where they can legally ride sans a helmet!splat!:(
My trainer setup is very similar to the top photo. I have the bike on the trainer in the basement with a TV/DVD player in front.
And I keep my motorcycles in the garage. Especially the old Triumph, which has been known to leak a bit of oil here and there ;-)

AHAHAHAH ours are in the garage too. I cannot imagine my Road King sitting in the living room, I couldnt manuver it to get it out the front door :) Had to sell my little red Sportster to make room though. 8 bikes and 3 Harleys was a bit much so something had to go. I LOVE Triumphs they are cute (don't take offense, I call mine "cute" too and the guys always mock me).
I usually say forget it, and dive in here after I get home from work:
Memory foam, 800 TC sheets, synthetic down comforter, oh so nice...
If I think a sufferfest is in order I jump on here:
-No TV, blank white wall, but decent speakers for the iPod to connect to. Set up intervals into the bike computer and stare at the power numbers for a couple hours.
is that your car?
Marian College Cycling Center...
is that your car?
The Elise? Yeah, but it doesn't get out much this time of year. Or any time or year, I suppose. 2.5 yrs old and has barely turned over 11k miles. I haven't gassed in up for about 3 months now, and the trip is reading around 45. This winter's been brutal.
nice car!
where does the bike rack go?

Here in Ohio it is cold, really cold. No matter how hardcore you are, you are not riding outside today. We have about 2 inches of snow covered by 3 inches of ice covered by an additional 4 inches of snow and it's still coming down. It's currently 22 degrees with a wind chill that makes it feel like 10.
So, I'm interested to see how you guys (and gals) are doing your indoor riding when the weather does not permit an outdoor ride. So get out a camera and snap a shot of your trainer setup and post away. I think it will be interesting to see how everyone else is coping with indoor riding.
Here is my basement setup.

The basement was a good choice because it's colder than the rest of the house and I have lots of room.
