So my LBS has a Specialized Aerotec SWorks frameset that is similar to this bike here:

http://www.specialized.com/SBCBkModel.jsp?spid=9571&JServSessionIdroot=l1wld3dh47.j27012

The difference between the one they are selling and that one is that the area that hooks up to the rear wheel is all carbon whereas the one in the link is all aluminum. The dude at the LBS says that the bike is only available to teams and that if I wanted it, they could order it for me. I'm a small rider and they only get a couple sizes that they can sell because they'll never use them. So the question is, where is this bike? Someone must have reviewed it somewhere. HELP!

Dude, haven't even finished your race yet and already looking to get a new bike :), that's hooked!

Maybe try roadbikereview.com, as well I'd guess the geometry and overall feel of the bike would be similar to some of their other models. I know Peter Reid rides an S-Works. Try test riding another frame just to get a feel for Specialized.

p.s. nice avatar...

No doubt! I've been looking at the Blade (cuz your bro looks cool on it) but it's a bit out my price range.

haha, came across the avatar today, couldn't stop laughing. Darth Tater!

The lbs is selling the frameset and fork for $700, the frameset in that link they are selling for $799. They said they get some kinda discount on the team one for some reason I'll never understand.

Anyhoo, I'll check out the site you recommended.

cool. :)

Chris moved from the Blade to the Trek TT this year. Prefers carbon fiber. And BigMatt rides the Kestrel Talon.

Me, in case you wanted to know what the slow guy rides... A huffy w/ banana seat, oh wait traded that in. Converted Look Road bike. But would love to upgrade some day. The S-works looks cool as does the P3.
