but if you can figure out a way to keep all the gear safe...I'm down. how far from daytona is lakeland? about an hour(ish)?
??? how would you handle the splits? each racer required to set their own splits on HR monitor?
interesting idea though.

104 miles, take i-4 to tampa, it's in the middle between tampa and orlando (orlampa). i figure do a large loop, start and finish line the same, have someone do a simple stop watch, and have the transitions at/near the S/F line.
inspired by my own greatness i've decided to hold a tri myself.
no entrie fee, no support no crowds of halfnaked woman cheering you on, just you and an fun little tri.
this is mainly just so i can meet and learn from some local tri-ers, so you can think of it as your saturday workout.
if anyone is interested i'd be interested to know that your interested.
i'm thinking either lakeland or winterhaven fl.
sometime soon.
